The bed was covered with a brand new bedspread - colorful and bright, with doggie faces. Across the room, the other bed had been draped in a matching bedspread and pillowcase.  Now that Ellie's and Amy's beds were so beautiful and cute, the girls promised their Dad and Mom that they would make their beds every morning before eating breakfast.  "And Milkshake will remind us to make our beds," said Ellie, "because she is going to sleep beside me."  (Milkshake was Ellie's favorite stuffed animal, a snow leopard that came from the Noah's Ark gift shop.)
