My Rescue

My name is Bubble Gum. I am a unicorn. Once I lived on a farm, and I lived with a farmer, a horse, a cow, a goat, a pig, a dog, a chicken, and two donkeys.

Then some animals were taken to another farm. Animals that lived in a stable, like me, were taken to the stables. There wasn't very much room in the stables - so little room that the younger donkey had to kept on the roof.

There wasn't any room for me, so the farmer at the stables put me in a truck. He drove me to a lonely place where there were only a few other animals. There were two fish, two sea stars, and a chipmunk.

The chipmunk befriended me. We told each other our names. I told her my name was Bubble Gum, and she told me her name was Betsy. She told me all about the stables and the other farm.

She said that at the other farm, the younger ones thought the farmer loved them, but the old ones knew better. The farmer didn't really love them.

Then she told me about the stables. She said that at the stables, all the animals have to pull a cart. The animals were beaten if they didn't pull the cart exactly right, and they didn't get hay until they pulled the cart. Betsy said this was very thoughtless of the farmer, for the animals needed hay. Hay gives them energy, and they needed energy to pull the cart.

I decided to find a way out and rescue the animals in the other places. Betsy asked if she could come too. I told her she could come. So I flew out with Betsy.

Then I went to the stables and got everyone to go to the barn. The farmer did not like my escaping from the lonely place and rescuing the other animals. So he yelled and chased me.

Then I went to the other farm, and I told the other animals to go to the barn. That farmer didn't like it either, so he yelled and chased me too.

I got the farmers to fight each other.

Then we all went to the barn and sang.

THE END

Ellie's Missing Eraser

The bed was covered with a brand new bedspread - colorful and bright, with doggie faces. Across the room, the other bed had been draped in a matching bedspread and pillowcase.  Now that Ellie's and Amy's beds were so beautiful and cute, the girls promised their Dad and Mom that they would make their beds every morning before eating breakfast.  "And Milkshake will remind us to make our beds," said Ellie, "because she is going to sleep beside me."  (Milkshake was Ellie's favorite stuffed animal, a snow leopard that came from the Noah's Ark gift shop.) That night, long after Amy had fallen asleep, Ellie whispered to Milkshake, "I made some mistakes when I drew a picture of my new bedspread - and the problem is, I couldn't find an eraser anywhere . . . . Could you look for an eraser for me? Just leave it under my pillow." And Ellie finally slid into Dreamland. The next day, as Ellie rolled over, wrapped up in her colorful blanket, she remem...

The History of Tracker

One day, Caddie Woodlawn adopted a puppy. She named him Wisdom.  One day, Wisdom went for a walk with Chase and Rosie. Some people found them and put them in the shelter. Then Chase and Rosie were adopted, but Wisdom was not. Wisdom stayed in the shelter for a long time. Then one day, Chase came to the shelter. Wisdom saw him and asked Chase what he was doing there.  Chase said that he needed help. Mayor Humdinger had captured Chase's owner.  Chase let Wisdom and the other dogs out of the shelter.  Then Wisdom called to the mice for help. The mice ran around, looking for clues. Then they found something!  It was Mayor Humdinger's hat.  Chase sniffed it.  It smelled like Ryder - that was the name of Chase's owner. Chase followed the scent, and he found Ryder. But it was a trap. A cage came down on top of Ryder and Chase. But Wisdom escaped. Then Mayor Humdinger chased Wisdom away. Now he didn't know where Ryder and Chase were. He had to rescue them. But...

The Paw Patrol's Vacation

One day, the Paw Patrol went on vacation. They packed a loaf of bread, and pumpkin pie, and some cheese. Ella and Baby Chase didn't have cars, so they rode in the trunk of Rocky's recycling tugboat. They were going to go in the pool and be merpups.  Rocky and Baby Chase didn't want to go into the water. Tracker wanted to go into the water, but he didn't want to be a merpup. He did want to surf on the merpup's back though.  The merpup said he could surf on her back if he promised to be a merpup when he was done surfing. So Tracker became a merpup. Baby Chase and even Rocky did too. Rocky became a merpup because, if you're a merpup, then you like the water.  Then they ate pumpkin pie to celebrate.  Then Rocky went to the spa. The next day, they went swimming again - but Baby Chase nearly drowned! He got better though. Then Tracker and Ella broke their necks! They got better though. And then everybody went home from vacation, and lived happily ever after. THE END
